Shinji Koyote, recently made headlines. She announced her upcoming marriage to fellow singer Moon Won. He is a junior artist who once worked with her.
However, the happy news didn’t last long. It was quickly followed by harsh comments and speculation about Moon Won’s past.
One netizen left a comment on Shinji’s social media. They advised her to sign a prenuptial agreement. They feared her assets might end up with Moon Won’s daughter from a previous marriage. Shinji firmly replied, “That won’t happen, and I politely decline comments unrelated to this post.”
When another user questioned her commitment, Shinji gave the same response: “I politely decline irrelevant comments.”
Earlier, Moon Won appeared on Shinji’s YouTube channel. He shared that he was divorced and had a daughter. After that, rumors spread. These included claims of real estate fraud, school bullying, and infidelity in his past marriage. Many people started to oppose their wedding plans.
On PANN Korea, a post titled “KBS criticizes Shinji’s husbandㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ” drew attention. It sarcastically said, “I was born in 0x, but I know Koyote… haha. But Shinji must have lived a very straight life.” The post received many supportive comments:

The issue even reached legal circles. Lawyer Lee Ji-hoon talked about it on his YouTube channel Knowing Lawyer. In a video titled “Prenuptial Agreements: What to Prepare Before Marriage”, he used Shinji and Moon Won’s case as an example. He explained why couples should discuss finances and custody before marrying.

However, some netizens disliked the video. One called it arrogant and said it felt more like a personal rant than legal advice.
Despite the drama, Shinji stayed calm. On July 8, her agency made an official statement. They denied all rumors about Moon Won. Shinji also said she confirmed the truth herself.
Koyote continued with their usual schedule. On July 13, they were seen at the wedding of Kim Ji Min and Kim Jun Ho. A post by X user @smkpa11 showed them there:
